The subject that I have enjoyed this semester is General Chemistry Laboratory.
This course is practical and theoretical, but I enjoy more the practical part of
this course. Before each practical work we have a little introduction about content.
The truth is that this subject can be chosen in three schedules, I
had chosen for the day Thursday in the morning, but for laboratory problems this
section was deleted and I had to take it on Monday morning. I still hate waking up early on Mondays.
Maybe I would change how it
is evaluated.
I enjoy this laboratory because I think it’s interesting how the
reactions chemicals look, the new products formed, from the reactant.
We have done around 8 laboratories with different topics (obviously
of chemistry), for example oxide formation or salts, neutralization between
Acids and bases, calculating the time reaction and its temperature.
The laboratory that I enjoyed
the most was ‘’Synthesis of copper sulfate pentahydrate’’ because the final
product was a small light blue crystal.
I think I also liked this lab a lot this semester, but my crystals never they formed jajaja
